Organic Farming
Organic farming has been central to our vision of producing the best possible grapes for wine production. From the health and sustainability of our vineyard to our own health and that of our workers, we knew that organic farming was of essential value. We accept that organic farming takes special attention to detail and patience and we know the end result is worth the trouble. As Paul Dolan, organic farming advocate and author states: “…it requires that the grower spend more time in the vineyard, evaluating the soil and the vines and the cover crop.” We could not imagine a better way or place to invest our time. We received our CCOF certification in time for our first harvest, in 2004.
